🧼 TRANSPARENT SOAP BASE RECIPE
• Coconut Oil – 120 g
• Stearic Acid – 55 g
• Sodium Hydroxide (Caustic Soda) – 29 g
• Distilled Water (for lye) – 61–65 g
• Ethanol (95–99%) – 120 g
• Glycerin – 31 g
• Sugar – 30 g
• Distilled Water (for sugar syrup) – 30 g
• Fragrance Oil (Optional) – 3–5 g
📝 STEP-BY-STEP PROCEDURE
1. Dissolve 30 g sugar in 30 g distilled water and set aside.
2. Mix 29 g caustic soda into 61–65 g distilled water until dissolved.
3. Melt 120 g coconut oil and 55 g stearic acid until clear.
4. Add 120 g ethanol and mix well.
5. Add 31 g glycerin and mix well.
6. Slowly add the lye solution while stirring continuously.
7. Keep stirring; the mixture will remain transparent and watery.
8. Once the mixture starts sticking to your spatula, add the sugar solution.
9. Mix thoroughly and pour into molds.
10. Spray the surface with alcohol to remove bubbles.
11. Refrigerate for about 2 hours until hardened.
12. Unmold and allow the soap to rest for 24–48 hours before use.
